This book trilogy is very overlooked and underrated!! Also i agree on what u said about book 2 and 3 of the trilogy, book two was probably the worst in the trilogy imo, and the ending of book 3 really disappointed me for, spoilers, taking away the "gothic look" of Varen because i suppose it was all a trauma response from the beginning. I'm a goth myself and i was scouring the net for more books with "goth" or "goth-coded" characters, and one day i stumbled upon that trilogy which stuck with me and now it's a comfort trilogy for me, even though YA and romance aren't my favorite book genres, but those books are really more than that imo. And on a related note, i wish more authors wrote actual "goth" character representation (not that i think varen was prefect rep but he scratched that itch for me haha).

Best review of this book on UA-cam!Definitely agree that the relationship dynamics undermined the main mystery plot. There wasn't even really a proper resolution to the main crime. So yeah I enjoyed the first two books more than I expected but this 3rd book is where I'll drop the series

I have Lion Heart I been looking at it lately it stands out on my shelf. Though lately I have a couple books lined up at the moment. There is one book I got a long time ago called simply The Plantagenets by Dan Jones. I been wanting to read it for years. I hope to get to that genre and new books and genres soon. Yeah it's Agincourt on Goodreads. I have the book as well I was collecting his books when I was ready to read them.

What I got up to in May: - Been watching the TV series "Younger" on Paramount+ starring Hilary Duff - Seen the movie "Miller's Girl" that has Jenna Ortega - Went to a party for one of my cousin Mike's kids - Seen my niece Layla after 2 years, she'll be 12 in Nov. that's my sister Angela's daughter - Bought myself an ID lanyard and a Harry Potter bag (purse) - My dad's been home since Memorial day or so :) I need to keep watching "Bodies" and "Avatar The Last Airbender", also "Percy Jackson" TV series P.S. I replied to you on email :)

I was shocked about what happened to Jinny Carter. You don't see or hear anything of that in the series. I was shocked. Scary!!

Did you hear that the guy that wrote The Last American Vampire is also going to write a Star Trek movie. (If you are into that kind of thing thought you might be interested) I can think of at least one show that shouldn't have been canceled. That is the new Quantum Leap. I just reviewed a Star Trek book on my channel. It was written by William Shatner.

First Comment first Like. If you know me and the 2 shows from all those years ago...Merlin wasnt so much cancelled but shortened I know they could have done so much more and Reign they could have given us a couple more seasons to truly end it properly.

I have to check out The Witcher, i've only heard of or seen some of the video game :) Happy for you that you gotten Bath & Body Works :) <3 Last month was kinda sorta bad for me due to fall outs with online friends :( Movies i seen: Cobweb, Imaginary, Willy's Wonderland, The other 2 Dracula 2000 movies which i kinda liked however i love Dracula 2000 way more. I went to my niece Natalina's 4th birthday party, Had the owner of Check into Cash give me some items: Pens, staplers, cups. This was a very interesting video. I would want to get merchandise for Reign and Merlin possibly Penny Dreadful I miss that one. Other than that I been working my first week went great. I have 2 days off now. I'm getting my reading in and doing a little drawing as well. I am listening to my new music I got recently on vinyl.

Great book review. I just finished reading The Silkworm. It is so well written and a lot darker than the first book. It took me a lot more time to finish reading than The Silkworm.

I fell off the Outlander train a long time ago I couldn't get past the first book while I was reading GOT at the time. It was a big change I wanted to go back to it.

I loved Damsel it's awesome!! :) I loved how they turned the trope of how the prince has to save the princess but turned it into the princess saving herself and being a total badass character - I loved that! I also seen 2 of the live action Monster High movies, I also saw the movie called Strays and I also started watching the series Bodies on Netflix :) I'm glad you had a good birthday, Happy Belated! :)

I used to read this before bed in rehab. Definitely made me question who to trust and who to hold onto. In the end, the answer becomes a sickening grey area 😕 Survival, morals, paranoia and fighting uncontrollable odds test the duality of life/death itself

I get most of my books out of charity shops and thrift shops because there cheap maybe second hand but alot of them a brand new books and good ones, it is not like I can`t afford them I can, I used to buy new books from amazone since 2020, then I decided to get them from charity or thrift shops make sure there in good shape some of them are because if you think, your buying new books say £10 or a bit less or more and when your finished with them you donating them to charitys for free or a fet or some place I know its a good thing unless you plane to keep them then you will be able to get fanier ones like special edition etc some times in book outlet places or charity shops you sometime could bump into special editions and sprayed edge books if your lucky so you never know.

I'm the first Like. I just got the new vinyl from Evanescence Fallen the 20th Anniversary Edition. You should check it out. I also got Michael Jackson's Dangerous Vinyl which was a vinyl I was not expecting to see that day. Other than that, I have been working as you know.

I don`t bother about world building character progression or reading publication order because for me sometimes books are not been published that way like some time book 2 could be sent out before book 2 and book 3 then book 1 till a set of books are made and you would need a personal storage for so many books to catch up, plus each book is like a different story but with the same character etc, I prefer to read the book and immerse myself in that giving book I am reading at the time, if you know what I mean. thats why I am trying to bounce between ebooks I use on my ipad and physical books I really prefer
